Change the filters
There are several important filters to keep your car engine and should be changed as follows:
Changing the oil filter At least every oil change changes every two months. If you change your oil yourself, get filter yarns using anti-grabbing lubricant, available in automotive supply stores.
Check the air filter every two months and replace it when it is dirty or as part of an adjustment. Air filters are likely to get oil filters. You can find it under the large metal cover in a carburetor motor or in a rectangular box in a fuel injector engine – see your owner’s manual for precise location. Extend the life of air filters by blowing them with pneumatic air.
Despite the claims of manufacturers and newcomers, it is good to do it once a year. The fuel filter will result in poor engine performance (frequency and start-up difficulties), an early warning that there may be corrosion in the gas tank.
Change the transmission fluid filter after the first 5,000 miles (8,000 km) of driving and every 25,000 miles (40,000 km) or two years later.
